Earning the mark is cause for celebration.

Kind Certified™ is an independent, evidence-informed certification for organisations that keep culture, leadership and accountability at the heart of how they work. Each certified organisation earned its place through evidence, action, independent review and oversight.

Choosing to have your culture assessed takes courage. Every organisation celebrated here made that choice, and in doing so has shown its people, partners and customers exactly what they can expect.

How the mark was earned

Every submission was assessed across five pillars. The Council looked for real evidence of listening followed by action, alongside a clear commitment to keep improving.

01

Employee Voice

Listening mechanisms that lead to action, with clear feedback loops and demonstrated response.

02

Psychological Safety

People can speak up, challenge leaders and raise concerns safely, without fear.

03

Leadership and Behaviours

Leaders held to standards aligned to healthy, high-performing cultures.

04

Action and Accountability

A culture action plan with executive ownership and visible responsibility for execution.

05

Innovation and Momentum

Annual initiatives and review points that create visible momentum and measurable impact.

  1. 1

    Evidence submitted

Policies, culture data, leadership standards and examples of action taken in response to employee feedback, sponsored by the executive team.

  2. 2

    Independently assessed

Reviewed by the Independent Standards Council, bringing together leaders from policing, community, risk and governance, elite sport and purpose-led business.

  3. 3

    Held to account

Certification lasts 24 months and includes a second-year accountability review, so the standard continues to be met throughout the life of the certification.

Guided by an independent council

Meet the Council(opens in a new tab)

Every submission is reviewed by the Kind Certified Independent Standards Council, a group of independent business and community leaders. Members bring experience across governance, risk, safety, leadership, sport and purpose-led business.

The Council works to a charter and code of ethics that keeps every decision fair, confidential and grounded in evidence. Together, its members protect and guide the mark so it continues to carry real meaning for every organisation that earns it.

Kath Koschel, Founder and Chair of Kind Certified
Kind Certified exists for organisations prepared to put evidence behind what they say about culture. Not because they are perfect, but because they are willing to listen, learn, adapt and be held accountable for the impact they have on people.

Proof that humanity and high performance grow together

The strongest organisations give priority to both their people and their performance. Certified organisations are showing the wider business community what that looks like in practice, and encouraging others to follow.

The journey continues after certification. Certified organisations keep learning, improving and building on the commitments they've made to their people, helping lift the standard for everyone.
